Kate Middleton broke out this week — and not just from the U.K.
At the outset of her seven-day tour of India and Bhutan, the Duchess of Cambridge has also broken out of her muted color block, arising as the consummate fashion ambassador with some chameleonic looks. Shaking off the snarky "Duchess of Drab" label, Middleton has eschewed her austere navy dress suits and understated tweed ensembles for a bolder palette that blends the best of beloved British designers, such as Alexander Queen, with visually arresting tour de forces from local Indian designers.
Kate Middleton’s secret to staying slim after giving birth twice is constantly chasing after her young children, she told a party guest in India.
The Duchess of Cambridge, who is visiting India with her husband Prince William during the couple’s first royal tour in two years, was “gracious” as she fielded questions from a garden party attendee in Delhi on Monday, PEOPLE reports.
“We said, ‘How do you lose all the weight after having two kids?’ ” Bulbul Dhar-James, a professor, told the magazine. “And she said, ‘I am running after my kids!’”
“I asked her, ‘Aren’t you tired of smiling?’ And she said, ‘I’m just reciprocating. Everyone is so warm, ” the party guest recalled. “She was so gracious.”
