Foundation for Pokhara International Airport has been started laying foundation Stone by P.M K.P Oli .
The airport was purposed since many years before but hadn’t
started yet. The leaders agrees for the foundation development for Pokhara,
the beautiful city of Nepal. The purposed Airport will spread Over Pokhara
VDC 14,15 and 18 and will be accented with
state of the art technologies, said Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN)
Director General Sanjiv Gautam. The 22 billion rupees project is expected to come
into operation by July 202.
For the Airport China CAMC Engineering Co.
has won the contract to build it. The agreement for Airport was signed by P.M
at china visit last week.
The Airport will be one of the great
milestone for people living in Pokhara in the development of City and in the
matter of transportation. Due to the basic infrastructure development of
International Airport Eastern Region will get new opportunity to develop
others and would increase the Economy of people by travel and tourism.
The climate of pokhara is good to Airport and
visibility for Airport is good up to 6000 at clear day. If Pokhara
international Airport will be completed there will be one exception of emergency
landing of Zet AeroPlanes for TIA(Tribhuwan International Airport).
